We just got an appointment for Russ,s \pet Scan today-- Wed Jan 30th at \health Science Center in  Winnipeg.  \our telehealth with Dr Wong went about what we expected.  He paints a picture of doom  and  . gloom .  \he told Russ that he would be on chemo indefinately but  would 1st have one more CT scan after the \pet Scan.  Ordered by Dr \lipschitz.  We are grateful to have him in the mix as he is much more investigative in our opinion.  We know Russ is very responsive to chemo, so we are optimistic he will do well.   We are trying to keep Russ,s local doctor in the loop but as usual when  Cheryl called to leave a message  as  Dr Wong wanted The Ct scan 1 wk after \pet Scan  which he needs to know, we were told they could not accept a message and to call back o n Monday.  Our local clinic appears to be disfunctional compared to the prompt cooperation we get out of town.  Oh well we are trying to keep drs in the loop but it ain,t easy when you have to wait 4 dys to get a  simple message thru.    Russ is feeling fine and keeps busy at the lake.  \lots of wood to bring down to the cabin for this cold spell.
