Russ has now just received his 4th round of chemo and is doing well. He is eating like a horse in the mornings. We met with the spine surgeon last Thursday and he reviewed Russ's catscan. 

The bone of Russ's T6 vertibras has been attacked by the cancer and has eaten away over half of the vertibras. The spine surgeon suggested that Russ not have the surgery to stabilize the destroyed vertibras, due to the complications and high risk of the surgery and the lengthly healing time outweighing the benifits of the quality of life he is having now.

Mom has just heard back today that the radiation oncologist, and Russ will be going ahead with the radiation treatment in the next 2 weeks. They are going to radiate the T6 vertibras and it will take about 10 - 10minute rounds of radiation. This will be happening in Winnipeg.
